Happy Wedding Day!

Greetings! It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi with you today to share a project.

But... before I get to my project, I wanted to remind you that the sale at Topflight Stamps has been extended until midnight tonight! Yahoo!!!

This week is an "Anything Goes" theme and I needed another wedding card!  It was created with the Sleeping Beauty Dreams Come True Foam Mounted Stamp Set by Stamperia, the Whatcha Saying? Clear Sentiment Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle, and the Engagement Sentiment Red Rubber Cling Strip Stamp by Darkroom Door.

Here's the outside of the card!

Here's the inside!

Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to stamp the wedding cake from the Sleeping Beauty Dreams Come True Foam Mounted Stamp Set by Stamperia twice — once onto white Copic-friendly cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper. Fussy-cut the sticker paper and place it over its counterpart on the image panel as a mask.

Use a cutting die to cut the image panel. Keeping the image panel in the die, lightly brush pink ink over the die onto the image panel, This will leave a white border around the image panel.

Repeat the above step with a piece of plain white cardstock. Set aside to use for the inside of the card.

Lift the mask and use Copic markers to color the wedding cake.

Use a larger cutting die from the same set to cut two pieces of the same patterned paper from a 6x6 patterned paper pad by Craft Consortium (no longer available in the store, but click here to see oodles of fabulous patterned paper pads). Use pink ink to edge both patterned paper die-cuts.

Use Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to stamp a sentiment from the Whatcha Saying? Clear Sentiment Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle onto the reverse solid side of the patterned paper. Use a flag die to cut the sentiment.

Adhere the image panel onto the patterned paper die-cut. Adhere the patterned paper die-cut to the front of a white A6 card. Adhere the sentiment die-cut as shown.

Use low tack tape to cover the other sentiments on the Engagement Sentiment Red Rubber Cling Strip Stamp by Darkroom Door. Ink the "Wishing you..." sentiment with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko, remove the tape, and stamp the sentiment onto the reserved die-cut. Heat set.

Adhere the sentiment die-cut panel onto the second patterned paper die-cut, then adhere to the inside of the card.
