Lavinia Mermaid Journal Page

Hello everyone! Ericka from Strangely Creative here with a journal page I made using some of my Lavinia supplies. It's getting warm here in Texas which calls for more swimming so I thought this mermaid would be perfect for my page.

I used my gel press and brayer to create a background using Lavinia Elements Ink in Mermaid. I also used the Fish Set to do a little shadow stamping on the plate before pulling the print.

Next I stamped the Althea mermaid stamp in Blue Lagoon and then in WOW! Embossing Ink to heat emboss it in Sea of Tranquility part of the Trio Cosmic by Seth Apter. I used Pine ink to stamp the Sea Tangle around the bottom of my page and the Fish

To finish my page, I added a white gel pen to parts of my page as well as a little Sundance ink with a blender brush to the top. I stamped part of the Water Spirit Verse and then spritzed water over the page to lift some of the ink. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my page.

Here are the Topflight Stamps supplies I used to create my page. Use my coupon code "StrangelyCreative" to receive 12% off your purchase.

Lavinia Love ATC Binder Divider

Hello, Lisa Hoel here! I have another section divider page from my ATC binders project to share with you today. As you can probably surmise, this one is for the "sea" section of my collection. I have a great fondness for the Lavinia brand stamps and when I saw the new Sebastian Seahorse stamp I immediately fell in love and got my hot little hands on it as soon as possible.

For the background, I collaged some hand marbled paper onto the base and then layered it with stenciling, stamping and embossing (the rocks/sand at the bottom). Similar to the "Fairytale" section divider I made previously, I used a tag cut from Mix Media Heavystock as a focal point and a suitable area for the fab seahorse stamping. Look at that detail!!

Thanks for stopping by. Keep your eyes open for more dividers from me. I only have thirteen to go! (eek!) Have a wonderful week and go get creative. ;-)
