Halloween Card with Lavinia Stamps!

Greetings! It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you! Can you believe it's October already? I've got a witchy card for you using several of Lavinia Stamps' 2024 Halloween stamps.

Here it is!

I cut a panel of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25" then placed the flattest mask from the Hills Acetate Mask Set by Lavinia Stamps horizontally across the image panel.

Sundance Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps was brushed over the top of the mask onto the image panel. Then ConfettiDella BlueBlue Lagoon, and Dark Denim Elements Inks were sponged horizontally onto the image panel to create a sunset sky. 91% Isopropyl Alcohol was sprayed onto the sky area of the image panel using one of the misters from the Fine Spray Misters by Spectrum Noir. These misters are fabulous as they produce a fine mist. I keep one filled with Isopropyl Alcohol and one filled with tap water.

The mask from the Hills Acetate Mask Set was removed from the image panel, traced onto scrap cardstock, fussy-cut, and the top part was placed over the image panel to protect the sunset sky.   Pine, and Olive Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps were sponged below the hand-made mask to create a grassy area.

The image panel was placed onto a stamping platform and the largest witch from the Coven of the Moon Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Lavinia Stamps was positioned as shown.Mini Jinx Clear Polymer Stamp by Lavinia Stamps was placed to her right and the Bubbling Cauldron Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Lavinia Stamps was placed to her left. All three stamps were inked with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts and stamped. The image panel was removed from the stamping platform, heat set, then placed back onto the stamping platform. The Magical Mist Clear Polymer Stamp by Lavinia Stamps was positioned over the stamped Bubbling Cauldron, inked with Medieval Blue VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts, and stamped.

The image panel was removed from the platform and heat set. Markers and chalk pencils were used to detail the images and the grassy area. A Gelly Roll Bold Line Stardust Clear Glittering Ink Pen by Sakura was used to add some glitter to the contents of the cauldron.

Medieval Blue VersaFine Clair Inks by Imagine Crafts was used to edge the image panel which was adhered to a black A2 card.
