Birthday Bunny

Hello!  You've got Colleen Dietrich here today to continue celebrating Topflight Stamps' 9th birthday week!  To keep up the birthday fun, I've got a card featuring a cute bunny from L'encre et L'image stamp set called The Long-Eared Family.  This little guy is holding a bouquet of clover.  I love him. 😊  I started with a background of patterned paper from Kaisercraft's Provincial paper pad.  Then I stamped that bunny on a scrap of paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored him with alcohol markers and fussy-cut the image.  The Provincial paper pad has not only patterned papers but also punch-out ephemera, like the two scalloped borders, clock and sentiment.  So easy.  I added some bakery twine for the bunny to stand on, along with some floral embroidery trim from my stash.  Pearls from Hunkydory were the final touches.  Hope you have a wonderful day! ~ Colleen

Patterned Paper Card with Kaisercraft

Hello friends! Ericka with Strangely Creative here and today I have two quick cards I made using the lovely Kaisercraft Paper Pad in Lilac Mist. The patterns in this pad are beautiful and I love that it includes several pages of ephemera to coordinate sentiments with your design.

I chose a couple of papers in the pad to work with and designed two cards using a couple of layouts. All these papers go really well with each other and its was fun to pick a couple for my card deigns.

Once I finished my cards, I add some Hunkydory Precious Pearls Gemstones. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Summer Sun & Island Escapes

Happy Monday Folks!

It's Clare with you today at the Topflight Stamps blog and  this week we are all in the mood for summer.  More recently the weather in the UK has been awesome!  Lots of warm summer days & nights have been some of my inspiration along with a superb selection of stamps from Topflight.

I used a versatile stamp set by Kaisercraft, 'Island Escape', all the way from Australia.  Along with some Distress Oxides through a stencil, I stamped the palm trees & the cheeky sentiment included in the set.

My next make was made in a similar way with the Distress Oxides but this time I chose to stamp using Visible Images 'Face It' over the top and add the flowers from the Island Escape set with 'Sand, Sea, You & Me (I love that sentiment!)

Every month I enter a postcard swap in the UK and with this month being a summer themed swap I decided to use the stamps to go on to my card.

I'd like to think I was sat under that palm tree sipping cocktails, I can dream right?
