Hi there! Toni here with a bonus post this week--woo hoo! I experimented with my Gelli plate and the new PaperArtsy Seth Apter Fresco Chalk Paints Set 1 this past weekend. They're very saturated colors which was interesting as I was able to take away more paint without taking away too much paint using the same techniques I was using on my other arylics. And I discovered the orange is a bit translucent which worked perfectly for the brick wall. Such luscious depth!
The background once done reminded me of stand-up comedian backdrops so I decided to use the singing Katzelkraft The Fat Cats 6 to create a musical scene. I used pigment ink to create the spotlight and the negative of the cat cut-out as a stencil for the shadow. Look at him getting down! So cute!
For a full list of card ingredients, visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft. I'll be back with you next week on my usual Wednesday. See you then!
This is so much FUN!
