Merry and Bright - Craft Emotions

I am all for quick and easy Christmas cards. Today, I created a sweet wintery scene using a a stamp set from Craft Emotions.

Craft Emotions

Craft Emotions - A6 - Clear Polymer Stamp Set - Carla Kamphuis - Christmas Decorated Old Door

I stamped the images one by one with Copic friendly ink and then Re stamped it with Versafine Onyx. This makes the lines look much sharper.

Use second-generation stamping when stamping the bricks. Ink the stamp, stamp it on a trash piece of paper, and then stamp the image on the card.

I added a few snowflakes with a paint pen.

I hope this card puts you in the Christmas mood!!

Have a great day!

Come sit with me - Jane's Doodles

Happy Wednesday!!!
I have three easy cards for you today using this cute stamp set from Jane's Doodles. I imagined each scene as just a snippet of how and where the chairs would be arranged in a living room.

I used the masking technique of stamping the image on cardstock first and then stamping another image on masking paper. I then create a background using distress oxide and a stencil.

Finish the card with a sentiment on double-sided foam tape.

Here are two more cards using the same techniques.

Which one do you like most?
Thanks for stopping by!

Little bit of sass with Katzelkraft stamps

I love these KatzelKraft stamps from Topflight Stamps.
They are silly and it's very easy to make a quick set of cards for a friend for a little pickup.

Here are the stamps with links:

Katzelkraft - A5 - KTZ217 - Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set - Little Birds

Katzelkraft - A5 - KTZ222 - Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set - Relax Sentiments

These are unmounted stamps and you will need to apply cling foam to them to use in a stamping tool, like a Misti.

I used a variety of Copic Marker colors to create the different cards.

Always play with the 0 (zero/O) marker to lighten up areas where you applied too much ink. Add little marks with a white gel pen.

To achieve the stippled/feathery look, use a few different colors of green and then use the O marker to lighten up areas in between.

Arent these just adorable? I hope you are having a great week!

I'll have my cake here, there, and everywhere! - KatzelKraft

Good morning!!
I recently found this stamp on the Topflight Stamps website and had to have it! I made three flat/dimension-free cards today and used my Copic markers for all of them!

Crafter's Companion - EZMount - THIN - Static Cling Mounting Foam

YOU NEED TO PURCHASE MOUNTING FOAM AS THESE STAMPS ARE UNMOUNTED. You also will need to cut the stamps apart.

Here is a quick pictorial of the first one:

Stamp with Copic-friendly ink.

I drew in the floor with 3 different browns to create dimension.

Added a simple blue background with BG32.

Add skin tones. Start with E04, then E11, smooth with E000.

So the plan was to make it look like there were indoors, but now it looks like they are sitting on a deck at the marina!!

The next two cards are just simple coloring. One is happy in her meadow, the other one comfortable at home.

It kind of looks like the two ladies aged
gracefully and still enjoyed cake, even
on their own.

I hope you liked my cards today. I felt really good to just color and see what happens.
Have a great day !!

Reality called, I hung up ~ AALL & Create

When you have a fabulous stamp, you don't need to add much to get a giggle. AALL&Create just released this lady, Miss Dee by Janet Klein, and Topflight Stamps has them all in stock.

Don't overthink the coloring! You can make so many cards with this lady whom I can totally relate to, and mail them to your friends who also need a pick-me-up. CAS card don't get enough love!!

For the next card, I added a stencil with distress oxide for some interest in the background. I also used Versamark Onyx for a sharp and crisp stamp of the sentiment.

Here is another Miss Dee! Check her out! I love these stamps!!

I hope you have a fabulous day!!

Talking to you makes my day - AALL & Create

 Happy Wednesday!

I am playing with a cute little girl from AALL&Create today with a fabulous leafy background. I am not allowed to wallpaper my the rooms in my house ( I am slowly working on my husband!) but I can wallpaper my cards!

Here is what I used:

AALL & Create - Clear Stamp Set - #342 - A6 - Windows - Janet Klein

All I did was stamp the girl, place a mask over her and stamp the chair over her. Cut and color. Stamp one window, cut and color.

Place your background in the center and draw lines to the edge of the card base. This creates a "room". I used Copic Markers to color the red walls and brown wooden floors.

Stamp and cut your sentiments and place them on dimensional foam for interest.

Isn't she cute? I hope you like this little lady sitting and chatting I'm her cozy wallpapered room!!🤭😁😉

Jane's Doodles ~ New Adventures by Charmaine Canham

 Happy Wednesday

This is my second card using the same stamp set, Jane's Doodles Happy Camper, that I used on Wednesday this week. I used an easy repeat stamping with masking technique to make this cozy forest.

New adventure by Charmaine Canham for TopFlight Stamps

Start by stamping 4 trees and the tent on masking paper. Fussy cut these. Plan your card before you put ink to paper. Make sure you want the trees in the front, in the front.

I then added the tent in the middle. I wanted the tent to be in-between the trees. So I stamped the tree first, then added a tree mask. Then I stamped the tent and masked the tent.

Now for color!!  I gave all the trees an overall YG Copic color. Added darker greens to the shadows and under the branches.

Now for my magic trick!! Use a white gel pen and a black fine marker to highlight the edges of the branches and darker the outlines of the trees and tent. I also added the ground and sky colors.

I added a whimsical border
and stamped the sentiment with Verafine.

I want to go camping now!!!!

Also, try to stretch your stamps! This was Wednesday's card👇 Check out that blog.

I hope you liked this card and will give masking a try!!!
