Welcome to the 2026 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
Hi friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here, and I’m so excited to be joining this year’s Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with Topflight Stamps, who is a proud sponsor of the hop!
To celebrate our shared love of coffee and crafting, I created a magical coffee-inspired card featuring The Cup stamp set from Chou & Flowers. This sweet set includes two stamps, giving you the option to add the little houses or leave them off. I chose to include them because I loved the idea of creating a whimsical scene tucked inside the cup.
I started by stamping and white heat embossing the images onto my background. Then I sprinkled Lindy’s Gang Boho Dreams Magicals over the embossed images to create a soft boho-style background. I love the dreamy, magical look these powders add, especially when they blend and move around the embossed details.
Once the background was dry, I added a little detailed watercoloring and some ink blending around the edges to frame the scene and give it a little extra depth. To finish the card, I drew a simple hand-drawn frame and added the perfect sentiment from Lavinia.
I love how this card came together with its mix of coffee, color, and a little bit of magic. Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy all the beautiful inspiration in the hop!

Hello crafty friends and Happy International Women’s Day!
Today I’m celebrating by joining the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Instagram Blog Hop, and it’s the perfect excuse to combine a few of my favorite things: coffee stamps, gel press prints, and sparkly embossing.

I started by pulling out my gel plate and creating a background using soft spring-inspired colors. Gel printing is one of my favorite ways to build interesting backgrounds because every print is a little different and full of natural texture.
Once the print was dry, I stamped one of my favorite coffee images from the Scrapcosy 13 by PaperArtsy.
To add a little sparkle and dimension, I heat embossed the image using WOW! Embossing Powder in Mai Tai, which gives the background a beautiful shimmering finish.
To make the design pop, I stamped the same coffee image again on a separate piece of paper.
This time, I colored it using Mattints in:
Dragonfly
The Pink
Glow
These translucent paints add such a gorgeous stained-glass look when layered.
Once everything was dry, I carefully fussy cut the image and popped it onto the card front for extra dimension.
To complete the card, I added:
A thank-you sentiment strip from Darkroom Door
A hand-drawn frame to bring everything together and give the card a finished, artsy look
The combination of the soft spring colors, sparkly embossing, and layered focal image makes this card feel cheerful and celebratory.

Hello craft friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here, and today I’m finally putting to use a supply I’ve been a little too good at saving. Washi lovers, you’ll understand the struggle. I adore it, I collect it, and then I get nervous about actually using it.
This time I pulled out the Tea Party washi from Penpaling Paula. It’s cheerful, whimsical, and perfect for a quick Christmas design paired with the AALL & Create Season’s Cheer sentiment.
To build the card, I lined the washi across a piece of red cardstock, keeping the pattern tight and clean. Once the panel was covered, I die cut the Season’s Cheer sentiment from glittery gold cardstock and adhered it right on top. It’s simple, bright, and definitely delivers that Christmas sparkle.

Hi crafty friends, Ericka here from Strangely Creative, and today I’m sharing a festive Christmas Coffee card featuring the Darkroom Door Coffee Time set paired with the PaperArtsy Xmas11 sentiment.
I’ve been having fun experimenting with my Lindy’s Gang Sprays on my craft mat and because I can’t stand to waste any of that gorgeous shimmer, this card became a zero-waste project! 🙌
Using a piece of watercolor paper, I “cleaned up” my craft mat by pressing the paper into the overspray. I repeated the process, drying each layer before adding the next, until I had a dreamy, layered background full of rich holiday hues. Once it was dry, I stamped my coffee image on a separate paper sprayed with the same Lindy's color. I added the festive sentiment, a little twine, and a hand drawn frame to complete the look.

Hi friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here and I'm beyond excited to be part of this year’s Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, and Topflight Stamps is a proud sponsor!
To celebrate our shared love for coffee and crafting, I’m showcasing a card that brews together bold texture, vibrant layers, and (of course) plenty of caffeine-infused inspiration.
For this project, I reached for the stunning AALL & Create “Coffee Time” stamp set—it’s quirky, expressive, and perfect for that art journal-meets-cardmaker aesthetic. The focal point is a stamped cup that radiates comfort and creativity.
But what really makes the magic happen? My background! I pulled out my gel press, layered on Distressed Oxides in Salvaged Patina, Antique Linen, and Aged Mahogany, then lifted the print to create the perfect imperfect texture. Think spilled lattes and sidewalk café tables at dawn.
Next, I layered in the L'Encre Fruity Note set, white heat-embossing the large blossom directly onto the background. It brings a springy pop while keeping the grungy feel intact. I stamped additional florals and detailed them using my Spectrum Noir Watercolor markers—to add a bright pop to everything.
Don’t clean your gel press between layers—those old layers add beautiful unpredictability.
Emboss white on color-rich backgrounds for an ethereal, chalkboard effect.
Layer your florals like you would in a bouquet—group in odd numbers and tuck elements slightly behind one another for depth.
Trust the mess. Mixed media is about embracing imperfection—like your favorite coffee mug that’s chipped but beloved.
