Happy New Year

  Hi Everyone,
Cornelia here today!

This week we focus on New Year cards.
Lets just hope  2021 will be better than 2020....

I started out with one page from the Dots to Diamonds Paper Pad for the background. I used Blender Brushes to create the ombre gradient. I stamped the little Zini on scrap paper twice and colored it with markers. I made it a bit taller than it is in real life. Fuzzy cut it. Stamped the sentiment on another piece of scrap paper and used it to cover up the  "defect" in my Zini. Added the gemstones.

I hope you liked this! See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.

Dots to Diamonds Rainy Days

I hope you are having a good weekend. Ericka here with a another fun Dots to Diamonds card using the fun Hunkydory Pad 2.

I love these pads and the variety of designs you can use with your gemstones.

I blended Distress Oxides into the background with the blending tool and then colored up the umbrella and cloud with Copics.

I love all the gemstones from Hunkydory but for this card I used the Festive Gemstones to create a rainbow of color.

I used the Visible Image sentiment from Brave & Strong to finish off my card. Thanks for stopping by and for more information on how I created my card, stop by Strangely Creative.

Have a wonderful weekend and see you next week.

Dots to Diamonds and Lavinia Stamps

Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today!
This week we focus on Dots to Diamonds, fun paper packs from Hunkydory (linked below).

For the background I used a paper pad from Hunky Dory( Hunkydory Dots to Diamonds Paper Pad 1). I first sponged the background  and then added the stencil and sponged some more. I added Hunkydory Diamond Sparkles Gemstones and some Stickles on the top. I stamped teh fish and added some "water plants". I used bleach to lighten up the plants.  You can see how beautifully this sparkles a bit better on the photo below. Unfortunately the photo doesn't do it justice.

I used this paper pad previously, you can see it HERE if you are interested.

Junk Journal with Dots To Diamonds

Hello Topflight Stamp Fans, Karen Bearse here with a quick & easy page & a tutorial on my blog. These techniques can be used for a Junk Journal piece, a card or as an art journal page. This week the team are playing with Dots To Diamonds so check back to see all the wonderful inspiration!

This card was made with just a few simple products that pack a punch!

Start with the Dots to Diamonds paper pad- I used pad #1 but there are a few different to choose from.

Add some Super Matt Varnish to seal & protect the area from ink.

Then for 1 step color that looks like you had to use many layers add some PaperArtsy Infusions.

Now for the bling!! So many Diamond Sparkle colors to choose from!!

The Stamp Set Mail Art by AALL & Create was perfect. There are so many images on this one set!!

The images are so crisp! Look how wonderfully dynamic those Infusions are. Thanks so much for joining me, I hope you get a chance to get inky today!

Happy New Year with Zinis

Hi Everyone,

I  hope you had a great New Year  and that the upcoming year will be kind to you and your loved-ones!

Cornelia here today. I have been asked to be on the Topflight Design Team and I couldn't say no. So you will get a weekly post from me for the next six month on Thursdays - I hope that is something you will look forward to!

To celebrate I choose this quirky little character from Paper Artsy, called Mini Zinis 38. It just makes me happy to look at it! I colored it with water brush pens and cut it out. The background I made with a paper pad from Hunky Dory( Hunkydory Dots to Diamonds Paper Pad 1). I added Hunkydory Diamond Sparkles Gemstones and some Stickles. Some of the dots I left blank. I didn't want to over due it. I wish you could see how beautifully this sparkles. The photo doesn't do it justice.

I used this paper pad previously, you can see it HERE if you are interested.

Let It Snow!

Hello everyone!  Betsy here on the blog today bringing you a "Let It Snow" card using
the Dots to Diamonds Midnight paper craft pad from Hunkydory!

I first chose my panel from the Dots To Diamonds Midnight Papercraft Pad:

The gray dots on the paper indicate where to put all the pretty gemstones!  Before adhering those to my sheet I first cut my paper down to 4" x 5 1/4".  Then I heat embossed my sentiment and snowflakes with WOW Embossing Glitter in Iced Silver.  I stamped my tiny snowflakes over
the largest of the gray dots.  I also heat embossed the edges of the panel.
Then I applied my gems.  I used the  palest and the darkest ones and adhered them in a nice scattering.  I did not cover all of the gray dots.  After the gems were down, I added Nuvo Glitter Accents in Fresh Snowfall and covered the rest of the dots and added more.  I then adhered this panel to my A2 size top folding white card base that was covered in a very pale blue snowflake paper.  When everything was dry, I sprayed the entire card with an iridescent glitter spray.  And that finished my card!

A different color of embossing powder and different colored gems would give this card a completely different look!

High Flying Fun with Dots to Diamonds

Hello, Lisa Hoel here! Topflight Stamps has a new line of products from Hunkydory called Dots to DiamondsHave you been seeing the great Design Team projects on the blog all this week? Scroll back and you will be inspired! You can get the paper pads that are preprinted with dot designs. Some dots are foiled and others are marks to show where you can add the pearls and rhinestones bling. (Use your stash of bling or buy color coordinated packs!) It is so easy to quickly create a sparkly card for any special occasion!

Preprinted sheets!

I used the hot air balloon page for this card:

I inked the balloon design with Prism inks and then trimmed it out of the page. After that I glued the gemstones onto the balloon. I also used matching Stickles glitter glue to fill in some of the dots when I didn't have quite enough gemstones. It worked perfectly!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great rest of the weekend! Below is a list of supplies I used.
