Stencil Play

Happy Friday and 4th of July Weekend! Ericka here and today I'm playing around with a couple of stencils and techniques.

For my first card I blended Distress Oxides on a background and then used transparent texture paste with the PaperArtsy PS143 Stencil by Tracey Scott.

This is a large stencil with beautiful lines and I decided to add some WOW! Sparkles glitter in a similar color to match the background.

For my second card I used some Darkroom Door stamps and stencils with a Distress Oxide background.

I stamped Warm Wishes flowers the image on a background I had smooshed Distress Oxides on. I then used the Abstract 08 set with Distress Oxide in Speckled Egg to add stamped textures in the corners.

I then did some ink blending with the Distress Oxides using the Darkroom Door Grunge Border stencil.
