Strong Roots, Powerful Wings Encouragement Card

It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week theme is "anything goes", so I decided to get out the beautiful Eclectica ESC36 Cling Mounted Stamp Set by Scrapcosy for PaperArtsy and make an encouragement card.

Here it is!

I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to stamp the Fairy Mannequin/Dress Form from the Eclectica ESC36 Cling Mounted Stamp Set by Scrapcosy for PaperArtsy twice — once onto a white image panel and once onto repositionable sticker paper. The sticker paper version was fussy-cut and placed atop its counterpart on the image panel as a mask.

The button array from the Eclectica ESC36 Cling Mounted Stamp Set  reminded me of clouds. I used pale grey Distress ink to stamp the first button array to the left of the mannequin's head on the image panel and onto repositionable sticker paper. The sticker paper version was fussy-cut and placed atop its counterpart. The same grey ink was used to stamp the other four button arrays on the image panel. I got clever and stamped the button arrays two more times onto repositionable sticker paper, stacked the sticker paper, then fussy-cut to create four more clouds masks.

Blue and pink Copic-friendly ink were brushed over the masked image to create a sky. The masks were lifted and the clouds, fairy mannequin/dress form, and grass were colored with Copic markers.

A silver gel pen was used to go over the metal part of the dress form. I misplaced my silver pen from the Bright Vivid Metallic Colorista Marker Set by Spectrum Noir or I would have used that!

Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko was used to stamp the sentiments from Eclectica ESC36 Cling Mounted Stamp Set. then silver detail embossing powder was heat embossed. The sentiments were die-cut with flag dies.

A 5x7 frame die was used to cut silver metallic cardstock, the sentiments were adhered, and the frame was adhered to the image panel.
