Silhouette Safari Card

Hi, Connie here with a Safari card using silhouette stamps and PanPastels,
for color. I'm using products by Carabelle Studio, KatzelKraft and Darkroom Door.
The focal stamp is out of stock but Topflight Stamps carries another similar product 
that will work for this. Good save :):)

PanPastels are used for the background creating a Sunset. I used the Sun stencil, by
Darkroom Door, for the Sun going down behind the tree. I used On Safari by Sentimentally
 Yours/Phil Martin for my card. Unfortunately this set is no longer available but Topflight
carries a similar product that will work.  Versafine/Onxy Black is used for the silhouette 
stamping.  I also used a stamping platform so I could re-stamp to insure a rich
image

To create the Postage stamp I used the My Stamp #2 by Carabelle and Mini Deer by 
KatzelKraft.  The stamp is adhered with dimensional adhesive.

The sentiment is by Darkroom Door and embossed with Wow Embossing Powder. The card 
is over sized because the stamp is about 8" long. I think it will be beautiful on a 
Kraft wrapped gift for a nature lover.

Gel Print Masterboard Bookmarks with Tracy Scott Stamps

 

Happy Monday friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share some more masterboard inspiration.  Again, a masterboard is a large sheet of stamped and colored paper that you cut into smaller pieces to make multiple projects.  You can find my first masterboard experiment post HERE.  Both times I have started with a gel print, as I find it is the easiest (and most fun) way of getting paint onto paper.

I used a variety of PaperArtsy Fresco Chalk Acrylics to include: Twilight, Byzantium, Waterfall, Amethyst and Lilac.   I used Tracy Scott stencil PS189 and Sara Naumann stencil PS092 during printing.  I used a sheet of thin tissue paper to blot between the stencil and saved it for adding layers, like how I used a glue stick with a portion of it at the bottom of this card.

The top was cut from my stamped masterboard, along with two bookmarks, which I positioned and cut with the Sue Wilson Slimline Dies.  A die is the perfect viewfinder for a part of the masterboard you wish to make into a project.  Here's my finished masterboard panel, with stamping & inking.  I used PaperArtsy Tracy Scott stamp set TS025, my very favorite set of Tracy's!  

And here are my finished bookmarks.  Note how I added some messy script with a white paint pen.  I have really enjoyed seeing a bright bit of artwork grace my book pages this month!  I hope this post has inspired you to have a go at making a masterboard.  They are fun to do and I know you will enjoy the process.  Hugs, Autumn

Baby Cards with Donna

Welcome to the Topflight stamps blog! 

Today I've got two Baby cards that I made for a friend of mine who is having a baby girl in September. I used Creative Expressions Dies and Onesie Stamp for these cards. We carry several Creative Expression baby dies because they make it so easy to quickly create amazing baby cards. Scroll down to see all our Creative Expressions baby dies. 

On the first card, I used the Creative Expressions Princess Charlotte Baby Onesie stamp and colored with Copic Markers. There is also a coordinating die set for the onesie that also works with the Prince George Baby Boy Onesie Stamp.
