Seashell by the Seashore

Hello friends!  You've got Colleen here today - this week at Topflight Stamps our theme is  Beach / Ocean!  I used several items to create a moody ocean themed card.  On a couple of pieces of watercolor paper scraps, I sprinkled PaperArtsy Infusions Dye Sleight Blue powder then spritzed with water liberally.  Once dry, I used Studio Light Scenery Borders Waves die set to cut out some waves. I set those aside and used the PaperArtsy Sara Naumann Mini 118 seashell stamp to create a focal point on ivory cardstock, stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.  On the card base, I used a PaperArtsy Alison Bomber Summer Edition sentiment stamp and Lavinia Dye Ink Soft Cygnet, stamped repeatedly across the background.  Final touches were some enamel dots from my stash, and Hunkydory Classic Pearls.

Hope you have a wonderful week! ~ Colleen

Below are the watercolor paper scraps I created with the PaperArtsy Infusions Dye in Sleight Blue.  Aren't they beautiful as-is?

Pink Hearts Valentine

Hello!  This week at Topflight Stamps we are using red and pink as our theme.  I created a Valentine, focusing heavily on pink.  On a pink cardstock base, I stamped the script from Studio Light Victorian Dreams stamp set to cover the background, using Lavinia Spun Candy dye ink.  A manila tag is full of hearts, thanks to the same Spun Candy ink and a PaperArtsy Sara Naumann Hearts Stencil (PS121).  I used a strip of the Studio Light Victorian Dreams packaging to decorate the bottom of that tag, along with some rosette ribbon from my stash.  The butterflies are from that same stamp set, stamped in Morning Mist by Versafine Clair, trimmed and glued down in the centers of their bodies only so that the wings can stand up.  The sentiment was selectively stamped / trimmed from a PaperArtsy Alison Bomber Love Edition quote.  Wishing you a wonderful day! ~ Colleen

PaperArtsy Sara Naumann Sea Themed Cards

Hello friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint and today I have a quartet of sea themed cards to share with you featuring fantastic stamps by Sara Naumann for PaperArtsy.  I made a small travel art kit to take on a plane, consisting of a few stamp sets, a few PaperArtsy Fresco Chalk Acrylics (Calypso, Cloud 9, Peach Nectar and Gold Rush), a brayer, my Gel Press printing plate and some PaperArtsy Printed Tissue.  I had a blast working on these projects at my destination.

I made some simple gel prints with the above mentioned colors.  I cut my background panels, then used the scraps to stamp onto.  The stamps I used were Sara's ESN55, ESN54, and ESN48.  For this card, I mixed in a set by Raquel, Scrapcosy set ESC10 for the seaweed.

For this pair, I used the Peach Nectar Fresco paint to sponge through my favorite stencil, Sara's PS101. I white embossed Tracy Scott's mini stamp EM61 randomly over that.

For this next card, I incorporated PaperArtsy Printed Tissue by tearing a portion and carefully adhering to my panel with a glue stick.   I just love the tissue!  For the sponging on this one, I used PS093.  I had such fun creating this "treasure trove" of cards and hope they inspire you today!  xx, Autumn

Simple Mixed Media Christmas Cards with PaperArtsy Infusions

Hi friends and happy Monday!  I'm excited to share a quick video tutorial with you today on creating super simple mixed media Christmas cards. I used a combination of PaperArtsy stamps and Infusions for these cards and made all three in just a couple of hours (including video time).  I used the gorgeous new Tracy Scott snowflake stamp set TS063.  I paired with a sentiment from Sara Naumann's Christmas stamp set ESN29.  I am smitten over the XL words in this set!

I made a quick reel HERE so you could get in on all of that inky goodness and see PaperArtsy Infusions in action.

I shared this second Infusions video a couple of years ago if you'd like to see even more.  Maybe it will give you ideas for when Valentine's Day comes around!

I used three colors for these cards: Royal Blood, Raspberry (Magenta is slightly darker but available at Topflight Stamps) and Violet Storms

I hope you like them and will give this technique a try!  Happy Christmas card making!  Hugs, Autumn

Watson Elephant by Katzelkraft

Hi, Connie here with a fun card using the fun Watson Elephant by Katzelkraft.
The background, for the card, is using another fun stamp by
Paperartsy and Sara Naumann called ESN 45.  I thought
these two stamp sets paired together really well.

The background is created using Distress Oxide inks and some texture
paste. That is always fun to create with!! Love the dimension that texture
paste adds to a project.

Watson Elephant is colored with Distress Oxide grey ink, then
trimmed out and added to the card front.  I stamped randomly with
the ESN 45 set and the Les Nombres by Katzelkraft. Another really neat
stamp set to enhance a card background.  Giving a fun mixed media style!!

The sentiment is embossed with Opaque Bright White by WOW, trimmed
out in word strips and added to the card front.  I used dimensional
adhesive to give a pop to the focal images. Twine was added at
the bottom of the card.  This is about a 5"x5" size card.

Art by Marlene Octopus Mixed Media Tag Tutorial

Hi friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share a fun project tutorial!  I've slowly collected a few Art by Marlene products from Topflight Stamps and was excited to finally pull a project together.  I used the AMAZING mixed media surface: Art by Marlene Tab Tags.  I'm sharing the vertical video on IGTV today, so make sure to follow.  I used PaperArtsy Infusions in Royal Blood and Emerald Isle to add a grungy/earthy base color for the tag and the stamped images.  Then I painted over portions with PaperArtsy Fresco Chalk Acrylics in Captain Peacock, Cloud 9, Twilight and Bubble Gum

I used PaperArtsy Sara Naumann stencil PS101 with a babywipe and Frescos to add the circles in the background.  I used Art by Marlene dies for the greenery and scallop detail.  The Octopus and Oyster Shell stamps come from the So-Fish-Ticated Sea Creatures stamp set 13.  I added Stickles glitter glue, large adhesive pearls and Pink Diamond Sparkles Gemstones to finish it off.  I really hope this funky project makes you smile and encourages you to be your brave beautiful self today!  Hugs, Autumn
