Happy Thursday Topflight fans. Ericka here with a quick masculine card that will also work great for Father's Day.

I don't know about you, but sometimes I have a hard time creating masculine cards. This Darkroom Door set is perfect for any type of card for the guys and I love the detail on the cars and the great sentiments.

For this card, I simply blended some Distress Oxide inks in Barn Door, Carved Pumpkin, and Squeezed Lemonade and then stamped the car in Versafine ink and clear heat embossed it. A couple flicks of water and some black Nuvo drops, my Father's Day card is complete.

Hi, Topflight Fans! Toni with you today! Now I don't find masculine cards easy to design but I have to admit this Paper Rose On the Road stamp did all the work for me. Woo hoo!

I asked my husband if he thought it was masculine after I colored it and he mansplained to me it had a truck on it so duh.  LOL.  Men!

I stamped the image onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black and colored it with Zig Realbrush Watercolor Pens. You can just see that I added a bit of sky.  The sentiment is also stamped in Versafine Onyx Black. Easy peasy man card!

Father's Day | Indigo Blu Bike

Hi everyone Jenny here!  The team are creating cards for Father's Day this week, to give you inspiration in advance of the big day next month. 

For my card, I'm using the 'Ride Long' stamp by IndigoBlu.  It's a mounted red rubber set with a fantastically detailed image, and some unique sentiments - great for the dad in your life who rides!

To create my card I took panel of rustic looking cardstock and stamped the main bike image in a pale grey ink.   I then stamped it again on some copy paper and fussy cut it out.  

I added the mask over the top of the bike with some removable adhesive. I then overlaid the Strobes stencil by Visible Image so the centre was over the bike, and fixed it with some tape.   This stencil is great for all sorts of cards, to create a focal point on your card.

I used some light brown ink and blended it out from the centre of the stencil, fading out towards the edges. I was careful not to go all the way out to the edges to avoid the square edges of the stencil appearing on the card.   

I then went back in with some darker brown ink and blended it just around the centre of the stencil.

I peeled up the stencil and then stamped the sentiments in black ink directly over the stenciled image.  It was mounted onto a white card base, and as a finishing touch, I added Nuvo Clear Drops to the headlight of the bike - I love doing this for vehicle or window images.

Happy Friday Topflight Stamps friends... Annette Allen here with you today and I am sharing a card I created mixing a few sets together. I created this card using That's Crafty: Shroom Town stamp set, AALL & Create: Blossomed Dreams and Studio Light: Brick Mixed Media Stencil. 

I wanted my card to be full of color and well I think I achieved that goal. 

I colored the images using Copic Sketch markers and hand cut the image out leaving a hint of white around the edges. I cut my card base and then used the Studio Light: Brick Mixed Media Stencil for the background using Ranger Oxide inks. 

After the background was all inked up I adhered my cut image to the base of the card using foam adhesives. I always stamp my sentiment last just because I really never know where I will put it. This time around I stamped it right on the card base. 

Totally simple card to create and as you can see you can use any colors together.

The Darkside of Coffee

I hope you are all having a wonderful week! Ericka here with a fun coffee card that was inspired by May 4th and the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Here is the coffee card I made using Katzelkraft Mug set as well as some Emerald Creek Embossing Powders.

 

I love this sentiment and thought it would go well with a galaxy background. I also stamped the coffee cup in this awesome Emerald Creek Just Java powder and it actually smells like coffee! The stars were embossed with the Emerald Creek Midnight Magic embossing powder and I love the shimmery blue shine.

Tropical Coffee, Anyone?

Hello, friends! Toni with you today featuring a tropical coffee card given that it's Coffee Lovers Blog Hop time. Coffee all the time, any time!

I colored up the Katzelkraft Coffee & Tea To Go image using Zig Realbrush Watercolor Pens.  Once that was dry, I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black.

I finished the card by using Pink Paislee Confetti Wishes 6 X 6 Paper on the card base and mat. I used a fun Tim Holtz Idea-ology Snarky Small Talk sentiment that totally works with coffee. So fun!

New Embossing Powder From Eileen Hull!

Good morning, Lisa Hoel here with a card to share with you today. I made a cheery mixed media birthday greeting utilizing one of the gorgeous new Eileen Hull Molten Dimensions Embossing Powders by Emerald Creek. (Topflight Stamps carries the whole line!) Read on to find out what I did…

The background is formed from three book pages glued together and coated with gesso. I let the edges curl up to give it more dimension. I then spritzed it with water and sprinkled on some dye crystals. Once it was dry, I stamped it using a Tracy Scott PaperArtsy stamp set, embossing some of the flowers with Polished Silver powder. Eileen's Molten Dimension Powders are very chunky and really do bring on the dimension! I also covered a 'happy birthday' diecut with the powder. It's a super luxe look!
