Hey Gnomie!

Greetings! It's Tuesday which means that it's Kathi here to share a project with you. This week my teammates and I are showcasing products by Paper Rose Studio. I decided to make a tag featuring the adorable Gnomies Clear Stamp Set and Scalloped Rectangles Frame Die Set. I've also used Lavinia StampsMini Meadow Mushroom Clear Polymer Stamp and the Glory Stencil with Wild Mushroom Prism Ink by Hunkydory Crafts.

Here it is!

One of the three gnomes included in the Gnomies Clear Stamp Set was stamped onto white cardstock with Copic friendly ink. It was also stamped onto repositionable label paper that was fussy-cut to be used to mask the gnome. A piece of torn paper was placed horizontally over the bottom of the image panel. Blue Distress ink was brushed over the top part of the image panel. The torn paper was moved to cover the top part of the image panel and green Distress ink was brushed over the base of the image panel.

The Mini Meadow Mushroom and the Mini Slender Mushroom were randomly stamped using Wild Mushroom Prism Ink.

The smaller of the two frame dies from the Scalloped Rectangles Frame Die Set were used to cut the image panel. The mask was lifted and the gnome was colored with Copic markers, which were also used to touch up the mushrooms.

A strip of white cardstock was brushed with Wild Mushroom Prism Ink to create a background panel and then trimmed to ~ 6.5", leaving a 2" piece for the sentiment. The Glory Stencil by Lavinia Stamps was placed atop the background panel and Wild Mushroom Prism Ink was brushed over the stencil.

Onyx Black VersaFine Ink was used to stamp the sentiment onto the remaining strip of the background panel, then cut with speech bubble cutting die.

The background panel was trimmed to 3.25" wide. Two corners were punched with a tag corner punch and the bottom corners were rounded with another punch. The background piece was then adhered to brown cardstock that was cut .25" larger with the same punched edges. A circle punch was used to add a hole to the top of the tag

The die-cut image panels and sentiment were adhered as shown. Three ribbons were threaded through the hole to finish the tag.
