Happy Halloween

Greetings! It's Tuesday, so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. It's after Labor Day, which means the next big holiday is Halloween, so I've made another Halloween card with The Birds - Jab Collection Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set KTZ247 by Katzelkraft, some of the bat stamps from the Twisted Tree Red Rubber Cling Stamp Set by Darkroom Door, a sentiment from the Holiday Sentiment Duos Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle, and GraphiteViolet Chalk, and Blue Lagoon Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps.

As per my usual routine, I first stamped and masked the large scared-looking crow from The Birds - Jab Collection Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set KTZ247, then I stamped and masked the spooky trees from the same set to the left and slightly behind him.

The smallest of the Acetate Circle Masks by Lavinia Stamps was placed in the sky and the flattest hill mask from the Acetate Hills Masks by Lavinia Stamps was placed under the spooky trees as shown.

GraphiteViolet Chalk, and Blue Lagoon Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps were brushed around the masked images to create a night sky.

The Acetate Hills Mask was removed and Pine and Olive Elements Inks were brushed along the base of the image panel to create the grass.

The masks were lifted and retrained and the images were colored with Copic markers.

Onyx Black VersaFine Ink by Tsukineko was used to stamp the bats from the Twisted Tree Red Rubber Cling Stamp Set by Darkroom Door in the sky area to add to the spooky vibe of the card.

The image panel was heat set, trimmed, edged with black ink, and matted with yellow cardstock.

Onyx Black VersaFine Ink by Tsukineko was used to stamp the Halloween sentiment from the Holiday Sentiment Duos Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle, heat set, then die-cut.

The image panel and the sentiment die-cut were adhered to a 5" x 7" black card.
