Spring Lily Card

Greetings! It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week my TFS teammates and I are focusing on Spring. I'm hopeful that we'll soon see warmer and drier weather here in the Northeast!

Here's my card created with the L is for Lily Unmounted Rubber Stamp 599 by Crafty Individuals.

Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko was used to ink and stamp the L is for Lily Unmounted Rubber Stamp 599 by Crafty Individuals. Detail Gold embossing powder was poured onto the image panel, the excess was dumped, and the image was heat set.

Watercolor pens were used to watercolor the image and the entire image panel. A scissors blade was used to distress the edges which were then sanded back further to reveal more white around the edges.

A piece of patterned paper from the Ink Drops - Candy 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad by Craft Consortium was trimmed to 4.25" x 6" to form the card front. The edge of the Nocturne VersaFine Clair Inkpad by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko was dragged along the edge of the patterned paper card front. All four edges of the paper were pulled through a pile of Detail Gold embossing powder and heat set.

The image panel was adhered to the card front, then adhered to an A6 white card.
