Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop -- The Second Card!

Greetings! It's Kathi again with another card for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. As you know, Topflight Stamps is a sponsor and is offering  a $25 gift card to one lucky person. All winners will be announced on the Coffee Lover's Blog.

Basically, the safety warning sentiment reminded me that I had the Caution Washi tape in my stash and also had the Redemption Stencil which had words like Dark, Danger, Poison, Toxic, etc, all of which describe my usual morning mood. Hence this card.

So, I stamped the cat, fussy-cut him, edged him with a black pen, then colored him with Copic markers. Yellow Ombre ink was first sponged over the Redemption stencil onto Kraft cardstock. It felt a little plain, so I sponged the same ink over the Time Tunnel stencil, trimmed and edged the panel, then added Caution Washi tape.

The coffee cup was die-cut from cardboard, white metallic paper, and textured Kraft cardstock. The coffee cup was painted with Pumpkin Soup and Yellow Submarine Fresco Chalk Paints. Prism Ink was was sponged over the Steampunk Man stencil, then heat set with clear embossing powder. The sentiment was stamped onto Kraft cardstock with Red Chili Prism Ink.

If you'd like to learn more about this card, pop over to my blog, Kat's Tales of Stamping.
