It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you! This week my teammates and I are showcasing Lavinia Stamps' fantastic products. I decided to create a slimline birthday card with the Bayleaf Cottage Clear Polymer Stamp, Fir Tree Clear Polymer Stamp, foliage from the Floral Wreath Clear Polymer Stamp Set, and a sentiment from the Heartfelt Verses Clear Polymer Stamp Set. I also used the Divine Stencil and one of the masks from the Acetate Hills Masks set.
Here it is!
The Bayleaf Cottage was stamped with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink onto repositionable label paper and onto Bristol paper. The label paper version was fussy-cut and placed atop its counterpart on the image panel.
Violet Chalk, Della Blue, and Blue Lagoon Elements Inks were brushed over the masked image panel. When I was happy with the blending and the coverage, Blue Lagoon Elements Ink was brushed over the Divine Stencil.
The least curvy hill mask was placed under the stones and Graphite Elements Ink was brushed over it.
Rainforest VersaFine Clair Ink was used to stamp the Fir Tree around the masked image, using first and second generation stamping.
The mask was lifted and retained for another use. Watercolor markers were used to color the Bayleaf Cottage.
Green Oasis and Verdant VersaFine Clair Ink were used to randomly stamp the foliage from the Floral Wreath Clear Polymer Stamp Set along the bottom of the image panel.
The image panel was trimmed to 3.75" x 8.75" and edged with Blue Lagoon Elements Ink.
Purple Delight VersaFine Clair Ink was used to stamp "Happy Birthday" from the Heartfelt Verses Clear Polymer Stamp Set. The ink was heat set and the sentiment was die-cut.
The image panel was adhered to a 4" x 9" card, which will fit in a #10 envelope.
