"I Quit Drinking" -- a Miss Dee Card

Greetings! It's Kathi here today! I know that Tuesday is my normal day to share a project created for Topflight Stamps, but I was running late due to a doctor appointment. Luckily,  the lovely Cornelia switched with me.

The sofa and throw pillows from the Have A Seat Clear Stamp Set 461 and Miss Dee from the Boozer Dee Clear Stamp Set 702 by Janet Klein were stamped with Copic friendly ink and fussy-cut.

Miss Dee was colored with Copic markers, then edged with a black multi-liner pen.

Her earrings, stilettos, and jean studs were accented with the Gelly Roll Bold Line Stardust Clear Glittering Ink by Sakura

The couch from the Have A Seat Clear Stamp Set 461 was brushed with Distress ink, then shaded with Copic markers.

The throw pillows from the Have A Seat Clear Stamp Set 461 were stamped with the bunch of grapes in Dionysus' hand from the Dionysus Clear Stamp Set 723. The pillows were brushed with Distress ink, then colored and shaded with Copic markers.

Using a stamping platform, the grapevine border from the Dionysus Clear Stamp Set 723 by Janet Klein was repeatedly stamped at the top of a white cardstock panel, then colored with Copic markers. Distress ink was pounced overtop to add a bit more interest.

The grapevine border was covered with a piece of plastic and the bottom part of the image panel was also covered.

Sundance Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps was brushed between the two masked areas. The yellow was a bit bright, so I toned it down with white hybrid ink, then pounced Distress ink overtop to knock it back a little more.

The panel was heat set, then a gold paint pen was used to add a line between the grapevine border and the yellow "wall".  The gold pen was also used to add splatters to the grapevine border area and to edge the image panel.

Copic markers were used to add a wooden floor.

Onyx Black VersaFine Ink by Tsukineko was used to stamp the sentiment from the Boozer Dee Clear Stamp Set 702.

The throw pillows were adhered to the sofa which was adhered to the image panel. Miss Dee was adhered as shown. The image panel was adhered to a dark green A2 card.
