the journey is the destination - a journal page with AALL & Create Stamps

Greetings! It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi  to share a project with you! This week my teammates and I are showcasing AALL and Create's wonderful products. I've created a journal page using the Archway Clear Set #24 by Bipasha BK, the Newsprint Numbers Clear Stamp #434 by Janet Klein, the

Here it is!

y first step was to stamp the archway with Copic-friendly ink onto the image panel and again onto repositionable label paper which was fussy-cut to create a mask.

The  train and tracks stamp was positioned and stamped onto the image panel. Copic markers were used to color the entire image panel. The list of markers used can be found on my blog.

The image panel was trimmed to fit onto the journal page and edged with Graphite Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps using a Blender, also by Lavinia Stamps.

The largest of the Black Blending Brushes by Time for Tea Designs was used to brush Graphite Elements Ink over the journal page. True Confession: I only brushed a 1" border around the page as I knew that most of the page would be covered.

The page was misted with water and heat set.

Morning Mist VersaFine Clair Inks by Tsukineko was used to stamp the Newsprint Numbers Clear Stamp #434 on the top left and bottom right and the Multilayered Cogs Clear Stamp  #664 on the top right and bottom left. The Reckoner Digits Clear Stamp #543 by Tracy Evans was used to fill the gaps and to add another layer of detail.

The journal page and the binding holes were edged with Graphite Elements Ink

The image panel was adhered as shown and the sticker was added to finish the page.
