Holiday Tags with Jane's Doodles

 Hello again! I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday filled with family and happy memories. This is Rachel from rwkrafts.com and today I'm sharing some sweet gift tags. The tags feature stamps from Jane's Doodles and inks from Prism Ink.

I started by stamping these sweet images from Merry Mice by Jane's Doodles. I colored all images with Copic markers and fussy cut. 

I shaded this tag with Prism Ink in Arctic Mist. I then assembled the little mice and stamped the sentiment on a banner. I also bordered this tag with holiday paper from Polkadoodles.

The next tag is shaded with Rainforest Green Prism Ink and the mice assembled on top.

For the last tag, I used a foiled piece of cardstock from my stash. The little die cut circle was shaded with Prism Ink in Red Brick.

Crafty Individuals Mixed Media Mushroom Tag

 

Hi friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share a mixed media tag created with gorgeous Crafty Individuals stamps.  

I made an ink dipped background using Peeled Paint, Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Inks.  I overstamped in Gathered Twigs with the fantastic Counting Down background stamp.  

For the focal image, I stamped the Counting Toadstools stamp once over my background, then again onto Bristol paper and watercolored and fussy cut.  I added Rusty Hinge to complete my color scheme.  I love the dimension created when mounting fussy cuts over stamped images.  The coffee stains are similar to the Darkroom Door Coffee Time stamp set, stamped in Walnut Stain.  I finished by tying some sari ribbon onto the top with a piece of jute.

AALL& Create Hot Drinks

 

 

 

Hello crafty friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here and today I have one last card to play along with the Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. For my card I used this awesome AALL & Create Hot Drinks set. 

I stamped this large image with Versa Fine Clair Pine Cone ink and clear heat embossed it. I colored the image up with my Zig Real Brush Markers.

I then used PaperArtsy Emerald Isle Infusions and applied it to my background using a leftover plastic and smooshing the wet powder around the image. I added the sentiment from the Visible Image Poinsettia Grunge set and white heat embossed it.

I finished my card by adding a little white gel pen along with some black lines around the edges.

I love this set and decided to also make a journal page.

I started with a gel press background I had in my stash using PaperArtsy Fresco paints. I stamped the AALL & Create Hot Drinks image and stamped it in Versa Fine Clair Nocturne ink and clear embossed it.

I colored the image up with some watercolors and then used the Katzelkraft Big Script stamp with white and brown ink. I added the Darkroom Door Coffee Time coffee rings stamp and randomly added it to my background

Craft Emotions - It's Christmassy

   Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today. This week it's anything goes on the Topflight blog. And I went for a Christmas Twofer.

For the black card I stamped the tree onto scrap paper, colored it with alcohol ink markers and cut it out. Splattered some "snow" and added the tree to the card. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment. for the white card I stamped the tree directly onto my card base and colored it with alcohol ink markers. Stamped the sentiment. Trimmed both card and mounted them.

Santa is coming!!! ~ Visible Image

Good morning!!

I got a few fun goodies in from Topflight Stamps this week and needed to play ASAP!

This is a mixed media card using distress oxide, modeling paste and ink. Check it out!

Start with a few green distress oxides and smoosh it with a little bit of water.

Build up the colors by adding brown with and without water.

Next, stamp this perfect Christmas Darkroom Door stamp randomly over the paper. 

Darkroom Door - Word Block - Christmas - Red Rubber Cling Stamps 

Stamp the trees with brown and then with black ink to create dimension. 

Visible Image - Christmas Eve - Clear Polymer Stamp Set

Add black oxide to the edges as well. 

Finish this card by adding this Santa boot outline with modeling paste. 

Visible Image - Boot Prints - Stencil

Add a sentiment printed with your computer.

I added whimsical lines to create a frame around the boot.

Let's Do the Time Warp Again!

 It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you! This week's theme is "Anything Goes". More than 60 years ago, I fancied myself somewhat of a hippie, so I had to get Little Hippie Clear Stamp Set 511 by Janet Klein because it made me feel nostalgic. though I still dress in jeans and tee shirts! So when I saw that there was a Hippie Dee Clear Stamp Set 781 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create, I ordered when it was available.

Here's my card that combines both sets!

Hippie Dee from the Hippie Dee Clear Stamp Set 781 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create and the Young Hippie from the Little Hippie Clear Stamp Set 511 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create were stamped in black ink, colored with Copic markers, fussy-cut, and edged with a black pen. Hmmm. I probably should have used lighter grey markers for her hair. A silver gel pen was used to color Hippie Dee's belt buckle.

The Abundance Stencil by AALL and Create was secured over a 4" x 5.25" piece of white mixed media card. The bottom part of the card was covered with a piece of repositionable Scotch Tape. A ruler was placed vertically 2" from the left edge and Blue Atoll Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps was brushed over the ruler and the stencil onto the left side of the background panel. 

The ruler was moved so that it covered the left 2" of the background panel and Blue Lagoon Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps was brushed over the right side of the panel.

The stencil was removed as was the tape covering the bottom. The ruler was placed so that it covered the top portion of the background panel. Dark Denim Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps was brushed along the base of the background panel.

Blue Lagoon, Blue Atoll, and Dark Denim Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps were used to edge their respective parts of the background panel. The background panel was heat set to make the ink was completely dry and adhered to a white A2 card.

Flower Dancing Washi Tape 22 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create was adhered across the bottom of the background panel..

Both the Little Hippie and Hippie Dee were adhered as shown. Metallic silver pearls were added to Hippie Dee's ears. 

Dark Denim Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps was used to stamp the "Time Warp" sentiment from the Time Warp Clear Stamp Set 472 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create onto white cardstock. The sentiment was die-cut, and adhered to the top of the background panel.

Pink Diamond Sparkle Gemstones by Hunkydory Crafts were used to cover the two holes on the sentiment die-cut.
