It's Tuesday which means you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week my teammates and I are creating Valentine's Day projects. I decided to create a card with the Valentine Voodoo Rubber Cling Stamp Set by Mistrahl for Carabelle Studio, the Cascading Hearts Medium Stencil by Darkroom Door, and a sentiment from the Classic Sentiments Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle.
Here's my card!
Create an A2 card from Kraft cardstock and set aside.
Use Memento ink to stamp the Voodoo Doll and the hot air balloon from the Valentine Voodoo Rubber Cling Stamp Set by Mistrahl for Carabelle Studio onto white cardstock and onto mask paper.
Fussy-cut the mask paper version and place it over its counterpart on the image panel.
Place flattest mask from the Acetate Hills Mask by Lavinia Stamps over the bottom part of the masked voodoo doll image panel.
Place the clouds stencil at the top of the image panel. Brush Copic friendly pink ink upwards over the clouds stencil onto the top of the image panel. Move the clouds stencil down and to the side. Brush pink ink upwards from the clouds stencil onto the image panel. Repeat this step, moving the stencil downwards and sideways until you have created a cloudy sky.
Place the Cascading Hearts Medium Stencil by Darkroom Door with the two smallest sets of hearts at the top of the image panel. Brush the same pink ink over the stencil onto the image panel.
Move the Cascading Hearts Medium Stencil downwards and brush pink ink over the stencil onto the image panel. Repeat this step until you're happy with the hearts in the sky.
Move the Acetate Hills Mask downward and brush Copic friendly green ink ink upwards from the mask onto the image panel. Shift the Acetate Hills Mask downwards. Brush green ink upwards from the mask onto the image panel. Repeat this step until the base of the image is covered.
Use Copic markers to color the images and the grass.
Using a stamping platform or a stamp positioning tool, position the "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment from the Classic Sentiments Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle facedown on the image panel to the left of the Voodoo Doll.
Ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and stamp the sentiment.
Trim the image panel to 4" x 5.25" and adhere to the reserved card.
