Let's Make a December Daily Page

 Hello Topflight Stamp Friends! Karen Bearse here with a December Daily page that can easily be converted to a card. This week the team is working with a Christmas/Winter theme. I am still determined to finish my December Daily Album for 2019. I like how this turned out & may make another for 2020. Working on these helps get me in the Christmas Spirit & reminds me that the importance of the  holiday is about family shenanigans!

This is the page I did front & back. So much wintery goodness on this! Let's take a look at the products that were used. For a full list plus a tutorial you can hit my blog here. 

The base of my page is from the Stamperia paper pack. Did you know that TF now sells paper? There are also some great bundles including the paper & chipboard for these pages. This one is called Winter's Tale & is just stunning.  

 This was the quote "Warm Winter Wishes" used on the front page of my piece. Just love the imagery of this set by Sara Naumann for PaperArtsy. 

This quote was embossed with Seth Apter's Blue Moon from his Cosmic set. Just love the different flecks of blue's & tiny bit of black which makes it very dynamic. The photos don't do it justice!

The snow flakes on this set by Jofy are very interesting & the accent images in them are great! I accentuated them with a gold gel pen. 

For the quote "Peace Be With You" from the above ESN40 set Weathered Gold emboss, from the Metalz Trio by Seth was perfect. I also added some script images from the set ESN41. That is it for the base parts of my page. This page gave me some awesome therapy & I have a piece ready to go in my December Daily project, such a bonus! Hobby Art Christmas Wrens in the Snow Cards

 

Hi everyone!  It's Autumn with SewPaperPaint with you today to share a little Christmas card inspiration with gorgeous stamps by Hobby Art Ltd.  I've paired the Jenny Wren set with some Christmas stamps to give it a new spin.  I made some other Christmas cards with these wren stamps HERE and just can't stop!  This time I chose the three birds on a branch and watercolored them with Distress Inks.

Then I embossed green cardstock panels with the Winter's Snowflakes stamp set in gold.  I sponged the edges of the panel with Distress Ink in Rustic Wilderness to create a halo effect, then gave the panels a splash of watery gesso.  I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Frosting stamp set and layered it over some bundled gold thread.  I finished by adhering some gold adhesive pearls.  I think they are quite festive, how about you?

Tracy Scott Flower Stencil

 

I hope you all had a great week and are having a happy Friday! Ericka here with Strangely Creative and today I'm painting up the PaperArtsy Tracy Scott PS280 stencil. 

For my first project I used watercolor pencils with the stencil. I was cleaning out my stash and forgot about these fun pencils and decided to trace the flower stencil on watercolor paper. 

For my next project, I had saved some planner tabs (the backgrounds are so pretty) and decided to create a swatch book with them. I used a black pen to trace the stencil and then painted the images up with some acrylics in my stash.

Hogs and Kisses with Hobby Arts

    Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today! 

This week it's anything goes. A good way to increase my Christmas card pile!

I fell in love with those cute Hobby Arts stamps the moment I saw them! I did a half ass no line coloring technique, using markers and Inktense pencils. Added a lot of snow splatter and some Stickles to the tree and hat. As so often, a simple one layer card.

Sweet Deer Tags

Hi, Connie here with a set of three Deer Tags using  the
NEWLY released Medium Journal Blocks stencil by
Darkroom Door and the Deer pattern paper by Paper Favourites.

The paper used is just the sweetest ever.  These tags would make great
baby gift tags.  Pastel in color and very soft!!! Just love them!!!

The tags are created in the same way just cut different images from
the pattern paper sheets. The tag is a regular shipping tag, covered in the
 pattern paper. I used the Medium Journal Block stencil
to get the wavy lines, going horizontally, on the tags. I used dimensional
 adhesive and popped up every other wavy strip.  A bottom border was
 created using a scallop punch.  The stitched effect is from the Journal
Block stencil also. 
  

Layers were added on each tag, along with paint to distress
the edges of the tags.

The sentiments were stamped out on white cardstock and
added to the tag front.  Seam binding trim and black jute
were added also to complete the tags.

Steampunk Halloween!

 Greetings! It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. I love Steampunk and Skulls, so I've combined those two and created a card using the skull and spider from the  Memories Never Die Mixed Media Foam Stamps by Antonis Tzanidakis for Stamperia with the 6 x 6 Cogs Corner Stencil by That's Crafty.

Lime Punch, Russet Orange, and Violet Chalk Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps were used to create the card itself.

Darkroom Door Christmas Bush Watercolor Background Cards

 

Hi friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share some Christmas card inspiration with you featuring Darkroom Door stamps.  If you're not ready to start on Christmas cards, just Pin this post for later, but I like to get a jump on my Christmas cardmaking and find that seeing inspiring designs really get my creative juices flowing.  I was eager to play with the Christmas Bush stamp set, as it is one of my very favorite Darkroom Door designs.  In fact, this background stamping technique could easily be done in different colors and it could serve as a non-Christmas pattern any time! 

I decided to make two panels at the same time.  I dipped the first panel in Antique Linen to get some background color, but left the second panel white.  I then inked up the stamp with Festive Berries and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks (red first, so it doesn't contaminate), then spritzed lightly with water before stamping on my first panel.  I then spritzed it again and stamped onto my second panel, resulting in a lighter, more watery look.  This is called second generation stamping, but with a watercolor twist.  I kept going until I had filled both panels.  I then sponged the white one a little with Antique Linen around the edges.  

For the pinecone card, I used the stamp platform to repeat stamp both the pine cone and bough with different colors and a light spray of water between stamping.  The sentiment also comes from the Pine Cones stamp set.  The Santa image was hand stamped by Rachel Greig from Darkroom Door and sent to me in a goodie bag.  He is from the Yuletide Volume Two stamp set.  For both cards I layered with a bit of tattered canvas fabric. 

Here are a couple more cards I made with these stamps. They incorporate the Christmas Bush, Pine Cones, Yuletide Greetings, Lots of Labels and Spanish Tiles background stamps.  I hope these ideas get your mojo pumping!  Hugs, Autumn
