Enjoy the Magic This Holiday Season!

Greetings! It's Tuesday so you have Kathi here. It's almost fall here which means the season of magic will soon be upon us. I'm referring to Halloween, since it's my favorite holiday!

Here it is!

The wondrously whimsical, if somewhat odd, potion creatures from the Zinski Art 16 Rubber Cling Mounted Stamp Set were stamped onto Copic friendly cardstock and onto masking paper. The masking paper version was fussy-cut then positioned atop its counterpart.

The arched window die was traced onto two layers of masking paper, fussy-cut, and positioned as desired on the image panel.

The bottom part of the image was covered. The largest brush from the Black Blending Brushes by Time for Tea Designs was used to brush light grey ink across the masked images to cover the entire image panel.

The Distressed Brick 6x6 Stencil by Paper Rose Studio was placed over the image panel and darker grey ink was brushed over the stencil. The smallest of the Black Blending Brushes was used to add touches of Red Brick and Tea Dye Distress inks randomly onto the brickwork.

The arched window die was used to cut the image panel twice as shown.

The masks were lifted and the image panel was colored with Copic markers. Sparkly rose glitter pen was used to add sparkle to the cat-creature's whiskers and to the jewels atop the crown.  White gel pen was used to add white highlights to the bottles.

The image panel was trimmed. A speech bubble die was used to cut the light grey inked cardstock. The top part of the "Happy Holidays" sentiment was covered, the stamp was inked with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink by Tsukineko, and stamped onto the die-cut.

Blue cardstock was stamped twice with the Bat Colony Clear Polymer Stamp by Lavinia Stamps using Onyx Black VersaFine Ink.

The image panel was adhered over the blue cardstock panel and the sentiment die-cut was adhered as shown.
