Art Journaling with KatzelKraft and Darkroom Door

Hi, Connie here with a fun and creative art journal page
using KatzelKraft stamps and stencils by Darkroom Door.
I created with several of the newly released sets called
Les nombres and Whatchamacallit.  Both of these
are perfect for art journal pages.

The background is created using stencils and Distress Oxide inks.  The Elephant images are
stamped out on heavy cardstock, colored in with Distress Oxide inks and then
trimmed out. The images are adhered to the pages with a liquid glue.
The Les nombres set is stamped over the stenciled background
using Versafine ink.

The sentiments from the Whatchamacallit set are really a good fit for these two pages.
A little #sassy but #truth:):)
They are stamped out on cardstock, trimmed in a word strip and adhered
with dimensional adhesive.  The pages are speckled with black and white acrylic
paints.

Products used:

Darkroom Door/Brick Wall Stencil
(The large Brick Wall stencil is used on this project,
but the small will work also.)

Versafine/Black Onyx

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. So much to enjoy on these journal pages, Connie! Those elephants had caught my eye on the website when they first arrived.
I'm a big fan of Van Gogh and of course, anything french - and now you've given me some inspiration on added text! Merci!

Early fall colors are enticing! When I saw the stampsets I was thinking of brights but you've shown them in an entirely different combination! Bravo!
