Lavinia Spary Fairy Card

 

Hello friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here and today I have a card I made using various Lavinia supplies. I love the Lavinia fairies and the Olivia Lrg stamp is a great one. I started with some watercolor cardstock and used the Lavinia Leaf Mask and sprayed the Mystical Mist Sprays in Golden Temple, Kingfisher, and Purple Orchid. 

Once my background was dry, I stamped the Olivia stamp in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and clear heat embossed it. I also added the Lavinia Heartfelt Verses stamp in the same ink and clear embossed it.

I used the Lavinia Dark Denim Elements ink and blended it onto the edges of my card. I finished my card with a little gold pen accent and added a hand drawn border around my card base. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Lavinia Elements Ariel Fairy Scene Card

Hi everyone!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share a bright and cheery birthday card I made for a friend who loves fairies.  I centered this card design around the Ariel fairy by Lavinia Stamps.  Ariel is granting wings to the fuzzy caterpillar.  :)  I started this card by dipping the top of my Bristol panel in Lime Punch Elements ink, and the bottom in Mermaid.  For the forest floor, I stamped a combination of Buttercups, Silhouette Foliage and Mini Meadow Mushrooms.  Some of the elements were stamped in Distress Oxide (Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry).  I added accents with Posca paint markers and a white gel pen. 

For the sky, I repeat stamped the Berry Leaves (vines) in both Lime Punch and Pine Trees Elements ink.  I added three of the Butterfly Silhouettes who had already received their wings.  :)  I added some Pan Pastels over the wand for a halo and then added some Stickles to the butterflies and fairy wings.

Chou and Flowers Stamps Watercolored Fairy Card

Hi friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share a card made with stamps by a brand new company at Topflight Stamps, Chou & Flowers.  For this card, I started by making a fun inky background following the Lavinia process of brayering Elements premium dye ink in Sahara onto my 6x6 Gel Press printing plate, then sprinkling on Brusho crystals in Lime, using a fan brush and pulling the print.  I cut the panel with the Crealies XXL Double Stitched Square dies.  I stamped and watercolored my the fairy from the Chou & Flowers Acrobat Fairy and the leaves from the Plant Lover stamp set.  I used Prism Markers for my watercolor on Bristol paper.  Then I embossed extra leaves in white to add interest to the inky background, then adhered my fussy cut elements as shown.  I hope you've enjoyed seeing this card and will check out the entire range of Chou & Flowers stamps available at Topflight Stamps.  xx, Autumn

Stamperia Winter Tales Collage Cards

 

Happy New Year friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share some cards I made with the Topflight Stamps Stamperia Winter Tales bundle.  I had a hard time choosing between the Christmas Rose bundle or the Pink Christmas bundle, so check them all out to see which one is your favorite.  I've been spending time with my dear Mother over the holiday break and she enjoys playing with designer paper, so we worked on these together.  There is so much ephemera in the designer bundle to work with that it's enough for two!  I decided to play on the fairytale theme with my cards.  The first features one of the chipboard embellishments, a lovely deer, which I layered with fussy cut elements and more chipboard pieces.  I added some swirly pearls and some crinkle ribbon to finish it off. 

 

 

My next card is intended as a young girl's birthday card.  I mixed in a paper flower with the fussy cut and chipboard elements and overlaid more swirly pearls over the fairy wing.  I'm hoping we can get together again soon and create a few more cards with these papers.  Make sure to check out the entire Stamperia range at Topflight Stamps and have a look at THIS post, where I shared some cards made with the Amazonia paper pad.  Fun times!

Stamperia at Topflight Stamps!

Protect Your Magic

Happy Thursday to you all. I have a card for you all today. It is fast and simple but has a grungy aspect to it. 

I started out by stamping Pretty One, colored with copics and cut out. Here is a tip you might not know; edge your cut out, stamped images with a black marker. It will not have that harsh white edge.

Next take a piece of pattern paper that has some grunge already in it and cut it down to fit on the front of a card. Then take  Hearts & Lines Border stamp and some gray and green/gray ink and randomly stamp it all over. I then took the ink blot stamp from Tender Hearts of Moogli and stamped that in black ink.

Take some washi tape and add it to the bottom of the card so the pretty one has something to stand on. Add her to the top of the washi tape.

Lastly I stamped some of the stars from the Fairy Bugs also in black ink. I also added some other small stars to fill in the space. I then added some gems to the center of the largest star in that stamp. On the top I added a saying and the card is done.
