Hi, Connie here creating with very awesome
stamps by Hobby Art. I love nature and mixed media
and these stamps are a perfect mix of the two. They can
be jazzed up or jazzed down :)
The background is created using a stencil and Distress Oxide ink. It was distressed
with water and then dabbed off. The script font is stamped lightly over the
brick wall background. I did not use an acrylic block, to hold the stamp, just roll
it up and then stamp lightly. The stencil was applied next. The font was stamped and
cut out and adhered to the card front.
The butterflies were stamped on mixed media cardstock, that I created using
Infusions, and then trimmed out. They were added to the card front along
with the small pearls, in the center of the butterflies. I splattered the card with
acrylic paint for more of a distressed look.
