Hello new friends!
I am so very excited to post my first post here on the TopFlight Stamps
blog! I hope you enjoy my funky and random techniques on
paper and give it a try. I would love your
feedback on what you would like to see in the future.
I am starting this year with a journal spread
using the PaperArtsy Jofy73 stamp set.
This is such a large and beautiful set. Here is what I did:
I started by applying white gesso all over both pages.
Let this dry and start with the flower.

I used heavy cardstock (110lbs) and sprayed three colors of
distress oxide on it. Let this dry and stamp the flower with
black ink. I used Versafine Onyx Black.
Apply color and marks with posca or paint pens.

Come back to the journal and apply the blue acrylic ink
from Essentials by Marlene. I just got this paint set and love
the perfect tip at the end of the tube to use for
deliberate dot and line placement.

Let this dry and let's stamp some leaves. I stamped and fussy cut nine of these.
With the dotted stamp, apply green ink to a gel plate and
stamp from the plate onto your journal.
stamp from the plate onto your journal.
Adhere the leaves to the page on the left with liquid glue,
like I did here with Cosmic Shimmer Quick Grab glue.
This tube also has a handy pointed nozzle.

Finally, stamp the sentiment included in this set on the right side of the page.
Glue your pretty flower in the middle and then you're done.
And there she is! This was very fun and easy to do today and I hope you give it a try. All the products have been linked but let me know if you have any questions.
