Happy New Year! It's the first Tuesday of 2022 which means that you've got Kathi here with a New Year's card created with the wonderful cocktail stamp and a sentiment from the Nicci Battilana Eclectica ENB06 Rubber Cling Mounted Stamp Set by PaperArtsy on a background created with the Nicci Battilana Stencil PS291 by PaperArtsy and Sundance, Lime Punch, and Pine Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps.
Here's the card!
The cocktail from the Nicci Battilana Eclectica ENB06 Rubber Cling Mounted Stamp Set was stamped twice onto white cardstock and onto label paper, that was fussy-cut and used as a mask. Label paper was placed over the bottom of the cocktail glasses to ground the images.
Sundance Elements Ink was brushed over the masked images to create background. It was lightly misted with water to create some white splotches, then heat set.
The cocktail portion of the Nicci Battilana Stencil PS291 was secured over the image panel and Lime Punch Elements Ink was brushed over the cocktails. The horizontal mask was lifted and Lime Punch Elements Ink was brushed over the base of the image panel.
The image panel was was trimmed, which left some plain Sundance Yellow cardstock. The sentiment was stamped and cut into two panels.
The image panel and sentiment panels were edged with Lime Punch and Pine Elements Inks, then adhered to a green card.
