Winter Celebration Slimline Card!

Topflight Stamps is celebrating Christmas/Winter in July!

Greetings! It's Kathi here on a Sunday! This week my teammates and I are celebrating all week long! . I got so excited that I'll be sharing two cards this week!

I fell in love with Katzelkraft's new Foxes Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set and decided to use two of the six adorable foxes in this set with the Winter's Snowflakes Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Hobby Art Ltd.. I've also used one of the masks from the Acetate Hills Mask by Lavinia Stamps and two of the dies from the Sue Wilson Slimline Collection, Essential Rectangle Frames Die Set by Creative Expressions.

Here's my slimline card.

Since we're celebrating winter, I decided to make the foxes into Arctic Foxes. I used grey Memento ink and stamped two of the foxes onto white cardstock and onto removable label paper. The label paper versions were fussy-cut and adhered atop their counterparts.

One of the masks from the Acetate Hills Mask by Lavinia Stamps was placed over the foxes' feet and blue and grey ink was brushed over the mask and the masked foxes.

The second largest die from the Sue Wilson Slimline Collection, Essential Rectangle Frames Die Set was used to die-cut the image panel.

Shimmery silver ink was used to stamp several of the snowflakes from the Winter's Snowflakes Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Hobby Art onto the image panel, then heat set.

The foxes' masks were lifted and the images were colored with Copic markers.

The image panel was edged with the same silver ink, then heat set.

The largest die from the Sue Wilson Slimline Collection, Essential Rectangle Frames Die Set was used to  cut silver speckled blue cardstock, which was used to mat the image panel.

The matted image panel was adhered to a lighter blue slimline card.
