It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week my teammates and I are focusing on Crafty Individuals' wonderful stamps. I've made a holiday card with the fabulous Luigi the Llama Unmounted Rubber Stamp.
Here it is!
Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko was used to stamp Luigi two times — once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper. The sticker paper was fussy-cut and placed over Luigi while I created a background for him.
The flattest of the Hills Acetate Masks by Lavinia Stamps was placed horizontally about halfway up the image panel. Della Blue Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps was brushed over the Hills Acetate Mask and Luigi. A bit of pink ink was brushed over the background to add a pink glow to the sky.
The Hills Acetate Mask was removed and Olive Elements Ink was brushed along the top edge and along the edge of a torn piece of cardstock. The torn cardstock was shifted downwards and Olive Elements Ink was brushed over it. Pine Elements Ink was brushed over the olive, then Sahara Elements Ink was added to fill in the grassland for Luigi.
Luigi was freed of his masks and received some color thanks to Copic markers. A piece of white cardstock was airbrushed with the light red Copic marker that I had used on the image, then cut with the Curved Banner Die by Heffy Doodle. Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko was used to stamp the sentiment from the Roundabout Sentiments Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle, then heat set.
The image panel was trimmed to 4.5" x 6.5" and adhered to light red cardstock, then adhered to a white 5"x7" card. The sentiment die-cut was adhered to finish the card.
