Greetings! It's Kathi here today sharing an encouragement card created for Topflight Stamps with Lady Vagabond stamps and a stencil from Stamperia, plus a sentiment from Destination Unknown Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Visible Image. As you might know, I love cats and Steampunk. Since the Lady Vagabond collection features both, I decided to combine them to create a scene in the engine room of a Steampunk airship with the ship's two resident mousers.
Here's the card:
The first step was to stamp both of the gorgeous cats from the Lady Vagabond Lifestyle Foam Stamp Set onto a piece of white cardstock and onto repositionable label paper, The label paper cats were fussy-cut and placed over their counterparts.
The engine room from the Lady Vagabond Lifestyle Engines Foam Stamp Set was stamped over the masked cats onto the image panel. Using a black multi-liner pen, the floor lines were extended to the bottom of the image panel.
The engine room from the Lady Vagabond Lifestyle Engines Foam Stamp Set was stamped a second time onto repositionable label paper. The top part of the image was fussy-cut and placed over the airship's engine room and the cats.
Sundance, Confetti, and Della Blue Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps were brushed over a cloud stencil to create a cloudy sky.
The Lady Vagabond Lifestyle Compass Thick Stencil by Stamperia was placed over the cloudy sky. Post-It Notes were used to cover up the verbiage included on the stencil. Della Blue Elements Inks was brushed over the stencil onto the image panel.
The masks were lifted and the image panel was colored with Copic markers.
Onyx Black VersaFine Ink by Tsukineko was used to stamp the sentiment from the Destination Unknown Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Visible Image onto the image panel.
The image panel was trimmed and adhered to black cardstock.
The matted image panel was adhered to a blue 5" x 7" card.
