Good Luck

It's Tuesday which means that you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week's theme over at the Topflight Stamps blog is "Anything Goes". I opted to make a Good Luck card with the Van Gogh Elephant Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set by Katzelkraft.

Here it is!

Copic friendly black ink was used to stamp the images from the Van Gogh Elephant Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp Set by Katzelkraft onto white cardstock which were then fussy-cut. All but the "painting" on the easel were colored with Copic markers and edged with a black marker.

Green ink was used to stamp the heart from the You Go Gull Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle four times on the easel to create a shamrock, which was then colored with Copic markers.

Removable Scotch Tape was used to cover the wooden parts of the easel, then the circle flourish from the Small Elements 1 Clear Stamp Set by That's Crafty was stamped using Pine Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps. The elephant, beret, palette, and easel were set aside.

Della Blue Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps was sponged over the flat hills mask from the Acetate Hills Masks/Stencils Set by Lavinia Stamps using Blenders by Lavinia Stamps to create a sky. Clouds were added using a stencil and white ink.

The mask was moved downwards and Pine Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps was brushed over top to create the grass. The mask was shifted downwards and the process was repeated until there were several horizontal lines of grass. Lime Punch Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps was sponged over the bottom section to add interest. The panel was edged with Della Blue Elements Ink and set aside.

A Blender was used to sponge Pine Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps over the Dynamic Stencil by Lavinia Stamps onto a 6.75" x 4.75" piece of green cardstock panel.

Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts was used to stamp the "good luck" sentiment from the More Classic Sentiments Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle onto white cardstock, which was heat set, and cut with a speech bubble cutting die.

The stenciled green panel was adhered to a 7" x 5" blue card. The scenic background was adhered to the card front. The beret and the palette were adhered to the Van Gogh Elephant. The elephant, his easel, and the sentiment die-cut were adhered to finish the card.
